Bradley Hills Village Survey

Bradley Hills Village logoPlease fill out the Bradley Hills Village Survey if you have not already filled out the hard copy that was placed in your door. (Don’t do both).

Here is the introduction:

A group of residents in the Bradmoor and Huntington Terrace neighborhoods is exploring a way for neighbors to connect with and support each other to make our community a good place to live for a lifetime. There are many ways to achieve this goal, all falling under the umbrella concept of a “neighborhood village.” Some models involve only residents over 50, while others are inter-generational.

With this survey we are trying to understand our neighbors’ interest in a Bradley Hills Village and what specific needs it might address. Please complete only one survey per household and return by July 12. Contact information for questions and submission directions are provided on the last page. Thank you for your time!

Here are the directions:

Spring at Huntington Terrace

Although we had a small turnout for our bi-annual garden clean-up, it was a very enthusiastic and hard-working group!  Our sincere thanks go out to Margaret Hilton, HTCA President Mary Beth Sitrick, and Bob Margolies for all of their assistance.  We hope that all HT residents will stop by the triangle and admire the beauty of the garden as the growing season unfolds.

Spring Triangle Garden Clean-Up

garden

Date: Saturday, April 12, 2014

Time: 9 am until Noon

SPRING – what’s that! I know it’s hard to imagine that warmer temperatures are just around the corner when memories of snow are still lingering. However; it will be here before we know it. Come join your HT neighbors on Saturday April 12th at the Triangle (corner of Roosevelt and Garfield Streets) for an invigorating and fun spring beautification of our award-winning community garden. Gardeners and non-gardeners alike are welcome. Bring tools and gloves if you have them. We’ll be relocating the path and some of the plants, pulling a few weeds and putting down mulch. Refreshments will be provided. Rain date will be Sunday, April 13th.

If you’re not able to attend the clean-up, but wish to participate in some fashion, we are always looking for donations for upkeep and materials. Checks can be sent to the HTCA treasurer, a Board member, or dropped off to Terese or Deborah during the clean-up Big or small, all contributions are welcome.

Also, if you are interested in being on, or learning more about, the HTCA garden committee, please contact either Terese Bernstein (tfbernstein@gmail.com) or Deborah Perry (cntywoods@gmail.com).

Looking forward to seeing everyone…

New Board and 2014 Action Items

  • By-Law revision/vote – 2001 was last revision
